TRYOUTS FOR THE 2011 SEASON are starting February 1! Tryouts will be held at the FIS fields on Cornishon Ave in La Canada from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday for the first 2 weeks of February. In order to try out, students must have their athletic packets done, including a physical and a "pink slip".
Students do not need to provide their own stick or eyewear in order to try out, however you must wear athletic shoes (NOT Chuck's or Van's or UGGs) and you must have your own mouth-guard. Mouth-guards will be available at the practice field for $3; as long as you don't lose it, you only need to buy one.
Welcome to the new website for the La Canada HS Spartans Girls' Lacrosse Team. Over the next few weeks we'll be trying out different styles, adding content including photos and videos, and providing schedule information for the coming season.
The Spartans finished last season by winning their 3rd consecutive CIF Southern Section Independent Championship. With no seniors graduating and a number of players moving up from our JV and 7th/8th-Grade squads, we look forward to winning yet another championship, this time in the newly-formed <whatsitgoingtobecalled> League.
